Prayer: Dear Father, thank You that You desire to have companionship with me through the Lord King Jesus. I praise You, for You are a God of mercy and lovingkindness. Great are You and greatly to be praised! Lord help me through Your Holy Spirit to meditate the Word of God to be like a tree firmly planted by the streams of waters ready to bring forth it’s fruit in its season whose leaf also shall not fade or wither, so that everything I do prospers and comes to maturity. Help me to build my heart ark. Encourage, comfort, and cheer my heart. Knit me together in love with other believers. Cause me to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that I may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, which is Christ (Col. 2:2).
Thank You Father, bless You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
The Word of God, as said before is a painter. For example in Ps.1:3, it paints a picture of the man who meditates, as a tree firmly planted by the streams of water. Heb 4:12 says-For the Word God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing and effective]; it is sharper than any two edge sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breadth of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. The Word of God can get to the root and change and give new images in your heart that God wants.
So beloved child of God, as it says in Col. 3:16, Let the Word [spoken by] Christ(the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts. Col. 2:7 says-Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving. So beloved child of God let yourself be carried by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit of Grace in your heart ark. Be blessed beloved child of God.
Check back tomorrow for our closing prayer for this series: Build Your Ark
Jesus says in John 13:14 that we ought to wash one another’s feet as He did. This means we are to help one another in their walk. An example of this is to encourage one another in the Lord. Hebrews 10:24 says-And let us consider and give attentive and continuous care to watching over one another studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, 25) Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. In 1Tim. 4:13, Paul talking to Timothy says, Till I come, devote yourself to [public and private] reading, to exhortation (preaching and personal appeals), and to teaching and instilling doctrine.
The Word of God says in Pro. 7:1-3, MY SON, keep my words; lay up within you my commandments [for use when needed] and treasure them. 2) Keep my commandments and live and keep my law and teaching as the apple (the pupil) of your eye. 3)Bind them on your fingers; WRITE THEM ON THE TABLET OF YOUR HEART! You have to use your tongue to write it on your heart(Ps.45:1). Believe and speak(2Cor. 4:13). Pro. 4:4 says-He taught me and said to me, Let your HEART hold fast my words; keep my commandments and live. Again His words are spirit and life(John 6:63). Beloved child of God, it is profitable to be diligent in imprinting His Word on your heart. Hebrews 6:11-12 says-But we do [strongly and earnestly] desire for each of you to show the same diligence and sincerity [all the way through] in realizing and enjoying the full assurance and development of [your] hope till the end, 12)In order that you may not grow disinterested and become spiritual sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.
Come back tomorrow for Part 7!
Remember beloved child of God, as a man thinks in his heart, so is he(Pro. 23:7(a)). The Word of God has a cleansing effect on your heart and mind. So after being inundated with the world, hearing the Word of God can cleanse you. Eph. 5:26 says-So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word. Hearing the Word of God causes faith to come to you (Ro. 10:17). In John 13:10, Jesus talks about anyone having bathed needs only only to wash his feet but is clean all over and you [my disciples] are clean. He is talking about you being regenerated in the new birth by the Holy Spirit. So your spirit is clean and sealed by the Holy Spirit(Eph. 1:13), it is clean forever. Although that is true, the soul(mind, emotions, will) because we walk in this life is affected. Our walk with Lord King Jesus becomes tainted by the world. We hear worldly philosophies, constant bad news, people’s opinions, conflicts, circumstances, and these all produce unbelief. These are all painting wrong pictures in the heart, in the subconscious.
You need the washing of the water with Word. So when Lord king Jesus says you need to wash your feet, it’s your walk that needs cleansing and refreshing in Him, by hearing His Word. So when you wash your feet(your walk with Lord King Jesus), you will have sharing in companionship with Lord King Jesus revitalized (John 13:8). Isaiah 30:18 says-And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show lovingkindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]! So Lord King wants companionship with you beloved child of God through His marvelous Holy Spirit, Who sheds the love of God abroad in your heart (Ro.5:5). So hear His call beloved child of God, as He he beckons you in Matt.11:28-Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and over burdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]
Check back tomorrow for Part 6!
Beloved child of God, it says in Pro. 22:17-19, Listen (consent and submit) to the words of the wise, and apply your mind to my knowledge; 18) For it will be pleasant if you keep them in your mind [believing them]; your lips will be accustomed to confessing] them. 19) So that your trust (belief, reliance, support, and confidence) may be in the Lord, I have made known these things to you today, even to you. It’s crucial to keep speaking His Word to get faith into your heart. Beloved child of God, let His Word and the Holy Spirit keep you close to the Lord King Jesus now and in these coming times. Pro. 18:21 says-Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life] and Pro. 13:2(a) says-A good man eats good from the fruit of his mouth. God is saying that what is coming out your mouth will steer your life (James 3:6). It is seed that you are planting in your heart and will be manifested in your life in the future. You can change your heart and have a different future that will be according to the Word of God. Imprint His Word on your heart to build your heart ark. It’s important because of all the things that enter your heart that are ungodly that is from the world.
Be aware and take heed as to what you listen to on a regular basis, make the Word of God, which is ark material, be what you hear and listen to on a regular basis. The Word of God paints pictures in your heart, so do other things from the world subconsciously. What is in your heart, is what will come out in abundance(Luke 6:45, Matt. 12:34(b)). You believe what’s in your heart then you speak(Matt. 12:35). Let God’s Word change your heart by speaking His Word into your heart(Ps. 116:10, 2Cor. 4:13). God’s Word is life(John 6:63). Guard your heart with God’s Word(Pro. 4:23). Let His Word through the Holy Spirit change your heart by changing your desires to do God’s will.
