Once the heart is being changed there will be changes in behavior, which will be the fruit of the change from the Holy Spirit imparting grace into your heart. This comes through a relationship with Father. Father doesn’t want behavior modification, which is self effort, but heart transformation, from spending time with Him. Fruit will be produced by the Holy Spirit as you study and hear His Word and spend time in His Presence. Ro. 7:4-5 says- Likewise, my brethren, you have undergone death as to the Law through the [crucified] body of Christ, so that now you may belong to Another, to Him Who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God. When we were living in the flesh(mere physical lives), the sinful passions that were awakened and aroused up by [what] the Law [makes sin] were constantly operating in our natural powers (in our bodily organs, in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh), so that we bore fruit for death. So beloved child of God, we now live in newness of life so we can bear fruit for God by obeying the promptings of the Spirit (Ro. 7:6(b)).

Beloved child of God, it’s all about changing the inside, allowing the Holy Spirit to do a transformation, so that you can prove what His will is. The mind is the guarder of the soul, it either listens to what the Holy Spirit is saying in your spirit or to the flesh (the old way of thinking-that trained the soul) and to the lusts of the flesh. Your spirit is now under new management. It requires a lot time spent in the Presence of the Lord to become sensitive to His Holy Spirit. This is imperative, beloved child of God. Martha and Mary were two sisters in Luke 10, that were visited by the Lord King Jesus. Martha was busy and overly occupied and too distracted with much serving. Mary seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was listening to His teaching. Martha came up to the Lord and said, is it nothing to You that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me. The Lord answered her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; There is need of only one or but a few things. Mary has chosen the good portion [that which is to her advantage], which shall not be taken away from her (Luke 10:40-42). When you sit at Jesus’ feet, He imparts His grace to you. Lord King Jesus Himself says, the good part is listening. It’s important for us to hear His Word. That is how it gets into your heart, by sowing it into the heart. Miracles happen among you by the Holy Spirit by the HEARING of faith, it says Gal 3:5.

Beloved child of God, Prov 7:1-3 says-MY SON, keep my words; lay up within you My commandments [for use when needed] and treasure them. Keep my commandments and live, and keep my law and teachings as the apple (pupil) of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. When it says commandments, it also means His precepts and teachings and His Word. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Pro. 18:21). Words will either bear fruit for life or for death. God’s Word is life. Place life in your heart in abundance. Let the Word of God dwell in your heart richly. Col 3:16 says-Let the Word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [ in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all it’s] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts. Notice that singing is also a way of getting His Word into your heart.

Heb 4:12 says-For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective] ; it is sharper than any two edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature), exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. So there is to be belief replacement. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45(c)). So beloved child of God, it’s about heart beliefs being changed. The Word of God must be written on the heart. The tongue is the instrument to get the Word written on the heart. The tongue is like a rudder of a boat-it steers wherever the helmsman determines (James 3:4). The tongue steers what gets into the heart. The mind studies how to answer(Prov. 15:28(a)). The tongue has to be used to speak God’s Word into your heart. Ps 45:1(a)says-My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer. The tongue must be taught what to speak what is right in God, because it is the gateway to the heart. The Holy Spirit uses the words of your mouth to imprint on your heart, when they are God’s Word. Ps 103:18 Ampc says-To such as keep His covenant [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it] and to those who [earnestly] remember His commandments to do them [imprinting them on their hearts]. The angels also hearken to the voice of His word. So beloved child of God, when you give voice to Father’s Word, the angels hearken to His Word.

When you were born again, Father placed in your spirit all things needed to be like Christ. In your spirit was placed love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness (humility meekness), self control (self restraint, continence) (Gal 5:22-23). These, the fruit of the spirit is a fruit not a work that you do, but it’s the Holy Spirit Who produces the results. These are to be studied in the Word of God (2Tim 2:15). The mind must learn to agree with the Word of God in order to have the manifestation of the work of the Holy Spirit. In this aspect, we are co-workers with God. We sow the Word and God produces the fruit of it (1Cor 3:6). The soul and spirit dwell together in your heart. Your soul was not born again but your spirit was born again. This is why the mind, which is part of the soul has to be renewed in order for us to be transformed (Ro. 12:2). Heart beliefs is the key to the way a person’s life will go. Pro 23:7(a) says-For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. This truth is saying, your deep heart beliefs are what are guiding your life. The Word of God needs to get deep down on the inside to change things.
